# Navigation Bar and Footer

The 'Header' tab of your website lets you configure the navigation items that appear across your website, on action pages and landing pages. To open it, click 'Pages' in the sidebar and open your website.

### Multi-Language Navigation Labels

Each navigation item's Label field shows a tab for each [Supported Language](/docs/chapters-organizations) of the website's chapter, or of all its chapters for an organization website. Use the tabs to enter translated labels (e.g. "Home" in English and "Inicio" in Spanish).

To enable multi-language labels:

1. In **Settings > Chapter Structure**, open one of the website's chapters
2. Under **Supported Languages**, add the languages you need (e.g. Spanish)
3. Save the chapter settings
4. Open the website's 'Header' tab and click 'Edit' on a menu item. The 'Label' field now shows one tab for each language.

> 💡 If you only see English, the website's chapters only have English enabled.

## Colors

Set the navigation bar color, except on page builder pages. The text becomes black or white, whichever is easier to read.

## Footer

The 'Footer' section has one field, 'Footer HTML'. New pages copy it, so later edits do not change existing pages. To change one page, edit 'Footer HTML' on its 'Details' tab, or its Footer section.

On page builder pages, 'Show Social Icons' in the Navigation or Footer section shows icons from your [website's social media settings](/docs/websites#settings).
