Getting Started

The Solidarity app is the iOS and Android app where team members do most of the organizing work for your organization. While most of this work can also be completed on the dashboard, 1-1 phonebanks and 1-1 textbanks run only in the Solidarity app. Power Dialer phonebanks, Predictive Dialer phonebanks (Professional plan), and 'Anyone' textbanks also run in the browser from 'My Workflows' in the account menu.

Solidarity Tech is designed for organizations that need to build stronger relationships than email can build. Talking with people on the phone, and via text as a supplement, is a more effective power-building medium than email. It also acts as a stepping-stone to face-to-face interactions. The Solidarity app facilitates these conversations and will be the primary place where your staff and volunteers interact with your Organization's list of supporters.

You do not need to create a Person record first. In the 'Add team member' window, search for the person under 'Member', or click 'Invite by email' below that field. Then, you can add them as Team Member, by inviting them to join your team via email or SMS.

For a person with no Solidarity Account, the link opens a form that asks for their email, phone number, full name, and a new password. They then click 'Set Password & Continue'. Mobile app and dashboard login will be completed with this email address and password.

After completing this form, Team Members who filled out the form from their mobile phone will be redirected to the Solidarity app on the App Store or Google Play Store. They can then download the app and log in.

Once logged in, iOS Team Members should be sure to allow push notification permission in order to ensure that the app works properly.
