Team

The "Team" tab let's you configure which of your Team Members will be able to participate in your phonebank or textbank Task. All Team Members who you add here will be able to see the Task in the "Workflows" tab in the mobile app, as long as the Task is currently active (after the "begin time", before the "end time").

You must added at least one Team Member to your phonebank or textbank Task in order for it to be started.

Team (Anyone)

You can add any Person on your list to the Task Team from this tab. Adding a Person who hasn't previously been added as a Team Member through settings, will give you the option to add them as a Team Member here, through a modal overlay. The "power dialer" and "predictive dialer" will have slightly different columns available in the "Team" tab. Below is what it may look like after a predictive dialer session with a few participating Team Members

Magic Link Team Recruitment

For "Anyone" phonebanks and textbanks, you have an additional option to recruit team members through a Magic Link. This feature allows you to share a special recruitment link that enables people to join your task team directly.

How Magic Links Work:

1. Click "the magic link" text in the team section to reveal the Magic Link panel
2. Copy and share the generated link with potential volunteers
3. When someone visits the link, they'll be presented with a signup form
4. Automatic processing happens based on their current status:
   • If they're not yet a Team Member in your organization: They'll be added as a Team Member with the default role and added to this specific task
   • If they're already a Team Member: They'll simply be added to this phonebank/textbank task

Magic Link Analytics:

• View how many people have used your magic link with the "Used X Times" button
• Click this button to see detailed analytics about who joined via the magic link
• Track recruitment effectiveness across different sharing channels

Benefits of Magic Links:

• Self-service recruitment: Volunteers can join without you manually adding them
• Streamlined onboarding: Automatic account creation and task assignment
• Scalable team building: Share the link across social media, email lists, or messaging apps
• Real-time tracking: Monitor sign-ups as they happen

Plan Limitations: If you've reached the maximum number of team members for your billing plan, new magic link users won't be able to join until you upgrade your plan.

Team + Assignments (One-To-One)

For "one-to-one" Tasks, you will have a "Team + Assignments" tab instead of the simple "Team" tab for "anyone" Tasks. Here you will be able to see all the People who have been targeted for the Task from the "Targeting" tab. Each of these People will either a) included in the list of assigned contacts for an existing Team Member, or b) unassigned.

Your goal then, should be to ensure that every targeted People has an assigned Team Member who is responsible for contacting them. The default contact assignment strategy will simplify this process for you, but you can always make individual changes to every Person targeted by the Task.

The top level of the team row will be the Team Member, and if you click the arrow to expand the section, you will see all People assigned for them to contact. You can re-assign each Person to a different Team Member individually, or you can hover over the row for the Team Member and re-assign all People to a new Team Member.

The "Unassigned" will include all targeted People who have not been assigned a Team Member to contact them. You can assign each of these People a Team Member individually, or you can use the "Assign All" button to assign them in bulk to a specific set of Team Members.

Push notifications

Once you've assembled a Team for you phonebank or textbank, you can send them push notifications to remind them to complete the task. When a Team Member taps the push notification to open it, they will be taken directly to the workflow.

Team Members using iOS will have had to have explicitly granted the Solidarity Tech app permission to receive push notifications.
