People can be RSVP'd to any event session with a Yes, No, or Maybe status. There are three main ways to record an RSVP:

Event Page self-RSVP: A Person can mark themselves as a Yes RSVP by submitting the RSVP form from an Event Page. The form lists every session of the event that has not ended.

Dashboard RSVP Bar: A Team Member can RSVP a Person from the Person's profile page or from their conversation in the text inbox.

Solidarity App RSVP Bar: A Team Member can RSVP a Person from a Person's profile screen, the text conversation screen, or the call screen.

"Show RSVP Buttons?" vs. Event Page RSVPs: The "Show RSVP Buttons?" toggle on each session only controls whether Team Members see the Yes/No/Maybe RSVP bar in the dashboard and the Solidarity app. It does not affect the public event page. People can still self-RSVP through the event page regardless of this setting.

The event's RSVPs tab shows every RSVP, with its source, who marked it, and when. To add RSVPs or attendance from a CSV file, open the actions menu on the RSVPs tab and click Import RSVPs/Attendance. Imported RSVPs send no confirmation emails or reminders. An RSVP to a session that has already ended also sends no confirmation email or day before reminder.

Ticketed Events

When ticketing is enabled on an event page, supporters buy tickets instead of submitting a free RSVP form. Payment is required to secure a seat, unless the ticket type is free. A buyer with several tickets shows a party size badge. The waitlist cannot be enabled on ticketed events.

• Cancellations and refunds: If a ticket buyer's order is fully refunded, their RSVP is automatically moved to "No" and they cannot restore it to "Yes" (via a cancel/uncancel link or confirmation link) without purchasing again. Supporters who received free (comped) RSVPs and staff-added attendees are unaffected by this restriction.

Turning ticketing off: Turning off the ticketing toggle does not retroactively release seats held by existing live orders. Refund any outstanding ticket orders before deleting a session or disabling ticketing.

Zoom-Connected Events

For virtual events with Zoom connected, a Yes RSVP registers the person with Zoom. The confirmation email includes their personalized join link, and their attendance is tracked when they join with that link.

RSVP Confirmations

RSVP confirmation is on for new events, and you can change it in the event settings. When it is on, a 'Confirm' button appears on Yes RSVP bars in the app and dashboard, for sessions that begin within the days set in "Show RSVP Confirm Button". People can also confirm themselves with the button in the automated Day Before Event Email, and hosts can use 'Mark as confirmed' in Host Tools.

To call people to confirm, open the actions menu on the RSVPs tab and click Create Confirm Calls. This creates a phone bank for an upcoming session that calls people who RSVP'd Yes and have not confirmed. You can also include people who RSVP'd Maybe, and add the session's hosts as team members.

Expected Turnout

When one upcoming session is selected, the RSVPs tab can show an Expected chip with an estimated attendance range, based on your attendance history. It appears only for sessions that start soon and have enough Yes RSVPs, and only when your organization has enough attendance recorded.
