Call Legislator Pages allow you to mobilize your supporters to call their local elected officials to advocate for your campaign. Supporters can either submit the form on your Page or call the "call action number" directly. The form needs a zip code and a phone number. The person's street address, saved location, or zip code picks the representative. Call Legislator pages need the Standard plan or a higher plan.

After a form submission, the person gets a call from the call action number. They hear your introduction recording if you uploaded one, and then the call connects them to the representative's office. If there is more than one office, the next office is called when the current call ends. To skip to the next office, press the * key on the phone keypad.

In 'Choose Legislatures', pick up to 3 legislatures. The list shows only the legislatures in your organization's country that are set up for calls. Our support team does not add new legislatures on request. To target a legislature that is not listed, you can add your own with Custom Legislative Districts on the Professional and Enterprise plans.

A Person with no legislators in your targeted legislatures is told that there are no available legislative targets for them.

Showing who they'll call

New Call Legislator pages start with a text block that reads "We'll connect your call to {{ legislators-list }}." It fills in with the offices the call connects to. You can edit, move, or delete it. See Legislator Lookup Blocks for the merge tags.

New contact message

When 'Send new callers a sign-up invitations' is on, a direct caller with no Person record gets your text after the call. The text comes from the call action number.

Call action number

A "call action number" is required to use a Call Legislator Page. This number is dedicated to your page and counts as one of your organization's phone numbers. The first number is free, and each extra number costs $2.00 a month on current US plans until you delete it. Anyone can also call the number directly to take part in the campaign.
